Waves of Paradise

This is a field recording from the dock of a cabin located in the town of Paradise, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This was recorded as the waves of the rising tide of Lake Superior crashed into the shore during the middle of a peaceful summer’s night, not long ago… From this location, when the climate is just right, you can see a symphony of wind mills with red lights blinking randomly across the lake from the coast of Canada. This view was wonderfully captured by the photographer Mark Cassino, who was kind enough to let his image Canada Windmills be used as the album’s cover. The purpose of this recording is to help those with sleep disorders, to be used as a meditation aid, or to simply inspire daydreamers.
